CT PRIDE

Connecticut  PRIDE  is  one  of  the  on-site  organizations  which  helps  keep  Project  100  connected  to  the  GLBTI  community  beyond  our  state's  borders,  by  planning  and  implementing  Connecticut's  PRIDE  events,  part  of  an  international  celebration  of  LGBTI  liberation.

This  year's  New  Haven  Block  Party  was  held  Saturday  June  5,  from  11:00  A.M.  to  6:00  P.M.  on  the  New  Haven  Green.  This  was  designed  to  commemorate  the  anniversary  month  of  the  Stonewall  riots.

Hartford's  PRIDE  Rally  and  Festival  for 2004 was held  Saturday  September  18  at the Project 100 Community Center, due to a pouring rain at Bushnell Park.

The  PRIDE  Committee  is  always  seeking  new  members  to  help  plan  and  implement  its  events.  To  learn  more,  go  to  www.connecticutpride.org or  call  (860)524-8114.   CT Pride will meet on the follow dates at the community center at 6:30 pm:
1/12/05
2/9/05
3/9/05
4/13/05
5/11/05
7/13/05
8/10/05
8/24/05
9/7/05
9/16/05 - Fri nite before Pride

Our Mission

The Connecticut Pride Committee is made up of volunteers from throughout your community, committed to celebrating and remembering who we are, where we've come from, and how far we need to go. We produce events that promote awareness, tolerance, acceptance, and equality for GLBTI individuals, their friends, and families. We do this to provide a safe space, a healthy sense of family and identity, and to save lives.
