NORTHEAST URSAMEN

Founded  in  1992  as  a  social  and  service  organization,  Northeast  Ursamen  is  a  democratic,  gay  brotherhood  dedicated  to  providing  bears  and  ursaphiles  a  safe,  affirming  space  to  meet  with  like-minded  people.

Planning  meetings  are  held  the  third  Friday  of  each  month,  7:00  P.M.  at  Project100/Hartford  GLBTI  Community  Center.  Social  and  fund-raising  events  take  place  throughout  Connecticut  and  Western  Massachusetts.  The  Northeast  Ursamen's  activities  raise  much-needed  funds  for  such  groups  as  the  Visiting  Nurse  Association  of  Western  Massachusetts,  Connecticut  Children's  Medical  Center, Project  100  and  others.
