ROBERT GEORGE CALVERT SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Established  in  2004,  the  Robert  George  Calvert  Scholarship  Fund,  administered  by  Project  100,  underwrites  attendance  for  youth  to  the  Activist  Institute  component  of  the  True  Colors  conference.  The  Activist  Institute  is  a  series  of  specialized  workshops  designed  to  develop  leadership  and  advocacy  skills  to  further  the  progress  of  LGBTI  and  other  issues.  Participants  who  attend  at  least  four  of  these  sessions  during  the  two-day  conference  are  presented  with  a  certificate  of  achievement.

The  scholarship  fund  is  named  in  memory  of  our  Youth  Program  Director's  first  lover,  who died  as  the  result  of  a  gay-bashing.  Donations  are  always  gratefully  accepted.  To  find  out  more,  contact  Kenneth  C.  Decker,  kdecker@project100.org
