So, let's do it! |
Out In The Park At Six Flags New England has been a huge success with over
1000 GLBT attendees the first year! In 2003, our 7th year, we counted between 2500 and 3000,
or more. For the 2004 season, we had between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees! In 2005, estimates are
over 7,000!
There are so many of us, it's getting harder to count us all!
After we attended the Vermont Pride Festival in Burlington on July 10, 2004,
people asked us about also offering a "Gay Day" at The Vermont Renaissance
Festival (they even sent us "fan" mail).
Word about the various Gay Days at area Ren Faires and Fests spread quickly during the 2004 season.
And many folks at the Out In The Kingdom At King Arthur's (CT Ren Faire) asked us to look into holding a few more Ren Faire Gay Days.
How could we not plan on a Gay Day at a Festival in honor of King Arthur?
Especially, when the King Arthur Festival is held in a real castle?
So, in 2005, we began
Out In The Castle
At The Robin Hood Faire
(held at Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA).
For the 2006 season we will again hold a gay day event, but with one small change.
The event will still be "Out In The Castle", but the theme of the fair has changed to
"King Arthur's Festival" at The Hammond Castle.
The folks at Pastimes Interactive Productions and
Hammond Castle have changed the theme for
the 2006 season from Robin Hood,
to King Arthur.
Hence, we invite you to join us for Out In The Castle
At The King Arthur Festival
(held at Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA).
This year will be our first event. We know there are LOTS of GLBT folks and
organizations that enjoy going to King Richard's Faire in Carver MA for
Out In The Court,
and to
Out In The Kingdom for
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire,
so why not add another day of gay fun at The King Arthur Festival at Hammond Castle?
