Out In The Park At Six Flags New England, is a Gay Day event organized by Out In The Park,
a program of Project 100, Inc. / Hartford Community Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Out In The Park, the organization, is a dedicated group of people that are interested in creating events that are fun,
social opportunities for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning,
Intersex and Allies community to Get OUT with their friends and family.

The events that we plan and organize are warm-up events to National Coming Out Day on October 11th.
Our first event, Out In The Park, was held at what was then known as Riverside Park,
on Saturday, September 27, 1997. In 2004, attendance for
Out In The Park At Six Flags New England was between 5,000 to 7,000!
Since 1997, we have added other "Gay Days" at a variety of locations throughout
New England, eastern upstate New York and Montreal Quebec Canada.
The ninth annual Out In The Park At Six Flags New England in Agawam MA,
will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2005.
Out In the Park, is always held on the 3rd Sunday of September!
All of these gay day events are held in public venues and are open to the public.
The emphasis is always on fun, social events.
In 2005, we celebrate our 9th year as The Premier Gay Day in New England, and our 3rd
year as the Official Gay Day at Six Flags New England!
This year we will be holding our second annual Out In The Park festival and concert in the 10 acre
River's Edge Picnic Grove, with GLBT entertainers and vendors.
We also celebrate the fact that of the 10 events we have planned for this season,
nine are "official" events where the hosting park or facility is offering
attendees special discount admission tickets and/or coupons, or other discounts
and special offers!
Some events, such as Out In The Park At Six Flags New England
and Out At The Fair At The Big E are now available as part of weekend
vacation packages with special hotel discounts! These unique travel opportunities
are referred to as "Get OUT And About Western Massachussets Weekend"!
